Services at Waterloo Public Library remain the same as Ontario moves into Step 1.
Our current services (see below) remain the same as the Province enters Step 1 on Friday, June 11. We are preparing to welcome customers into the library in Step 2 and will have more details about a re-opening date as the Province moves through Step 1.

Waterloo Public Library offers WPL To Go curbside pick-up during Provincewide Shutdown
On Wednesday, April 7th, the Provincial government announced a Provincewide Shutdown to stop the spread of COVID-19. These restrictions go into effect on Thursday, April 8th. In accordance with the Province’s restrictions, the Waterloo Public Library will offer limited services.
Starting Thursday, April 8th, these are the available services:
- WPL To Go curbside pick-up at all locations
- Exterior returns drop boxes at all locations
- Virtual events, programs & services
All other areas of the library will be CLOSED to the public. Collection browsing, printing/photocopying, public computer usage, WiFi/study seat reservations and washrooms will not be available.
