Settlement workers can help newcomers in the Kitchener-Waterloo area with needs such as language training, career guidance and employment, housing, health care, education and more.

About LSP

The Library Settlement Partnership (LSP) program is a joint partnership between Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, the Kitchener-Waterloo Multicultural Centre and the Waterloo Public Library.

Appointments are available at the Main Library, John M. Harper Branch and McCormick Branch and other locations in Waterloo Region.

The Library Settlement Partnership works to ensure you can find an appointment in a language suitable for you. When you make an appointment, LSP staff will help match you with a settlement worker that speaks your language.
