Play Pendulum Skittles, learn about force and energy with Marble Targets, friction with Penny Pusher, levers with Wobbly Handover, brain science with Stroop boards and gross motor science through the Space Suit Trials. There’s something in this program for everyone, and all and knowledge levels of science are welcome.

It’s not rocket science...it’s propulsion physics! Momentum, kinetic energy, Newton’s Second Law of Motion, and the science of simple machines that move are at the heart of this program for Tweens. Participants will have the chance to visit a variety of stations and learn about propulsion science by making a Copter Launcher, a Mini Spinner, and a Rocket Balloon, while also having a chance to do a Simple Machines Seek and Find.

Then put your imagination to work by designing your very own paper planet to take home—and finish the adventure by launching a paper rocket with our rocket launcher. It’s a hands-on space experience that’s out of this world!
