Library Settlement Partnership

The Library Settlement Partnership (LSP) program is a joint partnership between Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, the Kitchener-Waterloo Multicultural Centre, and the Waterloo Public Library.

Settlement workers can help new Canadians in the Kitchener-Waterloo area with needs such as language training, career and employment, housing, health care, education and more. Translation services can also be made available through referral.

English Conversation Circles

Drop in to our McCormick Branch on select Wednesday evenings for an opportunity to meet others and build your confidence as you practice your English language skills. Browse a list of English Conversation Circles in Kitchener-Waterloo organized by YMCA Immigrant Services. Online conversation circles are also available.
