Canadian Children’s Book Week: April 27 – May 3, 2025

The Canadian Children’s Book Centre (CCBC), which was formed with the belief that all Canadians should have the opportunity to read books created by Canadian authors and illustrators, founded Canadian Children’s Book Week to celebrate Canadian authors of books for children and teens. During the week, touring authors, illustrators, and storytellers speak to audiences about the delights of reading Canadian children’s books. Canadian Children’s Book Week is an accessible and inclusive celebration that gives students the chance to learn about the diverse experiences of their fellow Canadians.
