Reading Buddies
Encourage a love of reading with this fun, interactive literacy program hosted by our friends from United for Literacy. Participants will pair up with a volunteer literacy tutor for guided reading sessions followed by language games and activities with the group.
Brush Calligraphy with Tweens and Caregivers
Brush calligraphy or brush lettering is calligraphy’s easier, but just as pretty cousin. Come learn the basics in this unique tween and caregiver program that’s geared at building intergenerational relationships as you both learn something new.

Transition to Kindergarten
We’ll make new friends and explore everything from letters and numbers to turn-taking and getting dressed for recess to help you feel ready for your new adventures in kindergarten. Please note parents/caregivers will be part of the learning process, but there may be times we ask parents/caregivers to leave the room for a short period of time to help children begin to transition to a classroom setting. This program is intended for children born in 2019 or 2020, who are entering kindergarten in September 2024.
