Explore Winter Fun: Borrow Snowshoes from the Library

Are you ready to make the most of the snowy season? We’re excited to announce that you can now borrow snowshoes from our John M. Harper Branch! Whether you’re taking your toddler on their first snowy adventure or planning a winter hike with friends, we’ve got you covered with five sizes to fit the whole family.

Our toddler snowshoes are extra fun, leaving behind adorable dinosaur or bear paw prints in the snow! Each pair of kids and adult snowshoes comes with walking poles to help you enjoy your time outdoors with ease.

How It Works

Borrowing is simple:

  • Snowshoes are available during winter months on a first-come, first-served basis (no holds) at our John M. Harper Branch.
  • You can borrow them for three days with your adult library card.
  • Remember to return them directly to staff at the John M. Harper Branch during library hours—snowshoes can’t be returned through the returns slot.
