Lego Spike Robotics
About the Program
Kids can build their own creations or follow along with one of the 45-minute guided lessons using the LEGO® SPIKE™ App (devices will be provided). This playful, story-driven experience is part of the LEGO Learning System and helps kids explore STEAM concepts while supporting literacy, math, and social-emotional development. Along the way, they’ll dive into the engineering design process—defining problems, brainstorming solutions, and testing and improving their prototypes. Kids will also be introduced to the basics of coding through a Scratch-based platform designed with beginners in mind.

Growing Microgreens
About the Program
Microgreens are young seedlings of edible vegetables and herbs. They grow quickly and provide more concentrated nutrients then their full grown counterparts. Learn how to grow microgreens year round in our step by step workshop.
Reading Buddies

Encourage a love of reading with this fun, interactive literacy program. Participants will pair up with a volunteer literacy tutor for guided reading sessions followed by language games and activities with the group.
