Paper hearts with loving messages about the library, hanging on a wall at one of the WPL locations

I remember going to the [Main Library] every Wednesday with my mum as a kid. I love WPL for these formative memories and now I bring my own son to the [Main Library] and [John M. Harper Branch] and I know I’m making the same memories for him.

Access to physical and digital books, community programs, printing resources, games and movies. Immigrated to Canada 2 years ago and [have been] visiting WPL since. It has a lot of lovely memories associated.

I love going to the new [Eastside Branch] because I’ve found a nice and cozy place to study and do some of my writing!

I love my library for so many reasons! You guys are such a great community service and the staff are all phenomenal! I love the special monthly events, both online and in person. And where else can you learn new things and meet new people without having to buy something?!

The [John M.] Harper Branch had just opened after we moved to Waterloo. When my kids were younger they loved the story time and choosing books afterwards. So many wonderful and carefully chosen books and games! As teens, they still enjoy browsing and reserving books and are so excited to pick them up. Also a great place for me to find a great read and pick some up for my parents. Staff are always so kind and helpful, a treasure in our community!

I love my library because of the sense of community that a love of reading brings together – kids, teens, adults, seniors, friendly librarians, and all surrounded by books!
